Book Review #108 - The Curse Of Crow Hollow By Billy Coffey (Kindle Edition)

Synopsis:

With the “profound sense of Southern spirituality” he is known for (Publishers Weekly), Billy Coffey draws us into a town where good and evil—and myth and reality—intertwine in unexpected ways.

Everyone in Crow Hollow knows of Alvaretta Graves, the old widow who lives in the mountain. Many call her a witch; others whisper she’s insane. Everyone agrees the vengeance Alvaretta swore at her husband’s death hovers over them all.

That vengeance awakens when teenagers stumble upon Alvaretta’s cabin, incurring her curse. Now a sickness moves through the Hollow. Rumors swirl that Stu Graves has risen
for revenge. And the people of Crow Hollow are left to confront not only the darkness that lives on the mountain, but the darkness that lives within themselves.

Release date is scheduled for August 4th 2015!

My Take On This Book:

What a great mystery & suspense thriller, this book will keep you wanting to read until your eyes get blurry, you will not want to put this book down. It did not take me long at all to finish this book, awesome read.

It is one of those sitting on the edge of your seat books. It starts right off telling the tale of the witch, Alvaretta Graves who lives up on the mountains who went crazy after her husband was killed. And Alvaretta hates everyone in Crow Hollow, blaming them for her husband Stu Graves's death.

Four teens confront Alvaretta at her mountain cabin. Cordelia Vest, daughter of Bucky Vest, local constable; Naomi Ramsay, whose father preaches at First Crow Hollow Church of the Holy Spirit on Fire; and Scarlett Bickford, the mayor's daughter.

Scarlett lost Cordelia's mother's diamond bracelet. And Alvaretta found it. Scarlett turns mute. Cordelia's face is paralyzed. Naomi develops uncontrollable palsy. Soon other village girls start to display similar symptoms. It and just gets even better with each page, so don't miss this page turner you will be glad you read it. If I could give it 6 stars I would. I recommend this book to all mystery, and suspense readers.

I received the Kindle edition free from Thomas Nelson part of the Book Look review bloggers program, for my honest and un-biased opinion.
