My Review & GIVEAWAY Of Brave Girls: Better Than Perfect: A 90-Day Devotional

Better than perfect: that’s what every girl is in God’s eyes.

A young girl’s doubt in her own self-worth starts from an early age. Am I pretty enough? Am I smart enough? Will I fit in? Do people like me? Am I worthy enough? These aren’t questions asked by teens, but from precious girls in grade school! Brave Girls Faith and Honor will help girls navigate these questions and learn just how wonderful they are!

In this Brave Girls devotional, 90 engaging devotions will help young girls find their place in the world and learn that the beauty of their imperfections is what makes them unique, loved, precious, and “better than perfect” in God’s eyes. Each devotion
will include:

  • A relevant opening scripture from the Bible
  • A thought-provoking devotion to build a young girl’s spirit
  • An engaging closing prayer to help the reader navigate her day!

My Take On This Book:

I highly recommend this devotional for all pre-teen girls. A wonderful study and a great way to teach our girls how much fun it can be to study God's word daily.

These devotionals cover all aspects of life, from living like Jesus to knowing how much Jesus loves them. Although the devotions are brief, they are to the point and contain essential truths for a young girls ride through this bumpy world we live in today. Each day has a scripture, short devotional, and prayer. Some include a fun activity or an area for journaling. The devotionals have the potential to help young girls be confident in their relationship with Jesus. I highly recommend these devotionals for young girls 7 and older.

My granddaughter is 10 years old and reads them but I am there with her to help her with a word she may not understand the meaning of, etc. I just let her read them. I am there for support in case there is something she does not understand. I would recommend reading along with your daughter, granddaughter, niece, etc. if they are younger than 7 or better yet read along with them no matter what their age is, they are full of inspiration for girls of any age, even us grandma’s.

I received this book for free from Thomas Nelson part of the BookBloggers  program, for my honest and un-biased opinion.
