My Review Of Echoes A Novel By Robin Jones Gunn

Overview:

In this dramatic contemporary romance by bestselling author Robin Jones Gunn, Lauren Phillips enters the wild, uncharted territory of the Internet on her home computer and "connects" with a man known only as "K.C." As she struggles to recover from a broken engagement, Lauren keeps busy by working full time and striving to finish her college degree. But her correspondence with K.C. quickly becomes the thing she loves most...and the source of dreams she cannot bear to relinquish. When the opportunity comes for them to meet after a year of corresponding, Lauren faces a tough choice: Is she willing to risk everything...including a broken heart? Readers will stay "on-line" to find out in this bestselling former Palisades release, now the third book in the new Glenbrooke series.

Will Lauren risk losing her heart...to a man she's never met?

Lauren Phillips tries to keep busy
while recovering from a broken engagement. Then one day, through her home computer, Lauren accidentally connects on the Internet with a mysterious man she knows only as K.C.

My Take On This Book:

I did not realize this is a series, and this is the third book in the series. Even though I did not get to read the first two I still found this to be a very heart warming and what I like to call a 'cozy book'.

Love and romance, oh yes I love it, but then Lauren and her boyfriend call off their marriage, she is devastated, and that familiar feeling of rejection, abandonment and failure consumed her thoughts all over again.

Her brother Brad gives her a new computer, hoping to lift her spirits, and to stay in touch with one another. After he gets it, all set up for her he shows her this chat room online where other Christians go to chat with each other.

This is where she meets a man who goes by K.C. Him and Lauren continue chatting for a year. They chat about things they have in common, such as writers in the era of Robert Browning whom they both love.

Than they decide, they want to meet and they make plans to do so. However, if I keep writing here I am going to end up telling you too much, and I do not want to ruin anything for you. I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves a love story and loves romance, and learning how to heal from feelings of your past.

I received a free copy of this book for review from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group, for my honest unbiased opinion.
